BGSV – Bosch Global Software Technologies Company Limited (Previous name: RBVH - Robert Bosch Engineering and Business Solutions Vietnam Company Limited) is 100% owned subsidiary of Robert Bosch GmbH.

BGSV has started its operations from 19th October, 2010 at E-Town2 in HCMC. This engineering development center will be engaged in developing embedded systems and software, mechanical design and simulation, and will provide IT (SAP Consulting, JAVA Development….) and Business Services (Finance and accounting, Economics, Purchasing, Logistics, Translations Japanese-English-Japanese, Information Security ) solutions to the Bosch group of companies globally.

Job Description

The Software Architect defines and documents the Software Architecture and the used design notations that fulfills the software requirements. He/she defines software components, their interfaces and communication rule and identifies re-useable components.

• Design Software Architecture
  • Derive architectural drivers and refine quality goals, identify technical and project constraints, develop software requirements
  • Define Software Architecture that fulfils the software requirements
  • Make architectural decisions, document, and communicate architecture
  • Evaluate and verify Software Architecture
• Support development team with expertise, overview (requirement development, detailed design, implementation, integration and software test)
• Support Project, Change and Configuration Management
• Estimate cost of technical solution
• Identify & manage technical debt
• Support the definition, implementation, and evaluation of business strategy (including, but not limited to. re-use, 3rd party handling, license, make or buy decisions)
• Identify, analyses interdisciplinary problems on system level
• Support software processes development, and tailoring for project needs
• Create and improve guidelines (design principles, patterns, coding/modelling guideline def.)
• Influences or defines software development methods and tools

Qualifications

Mandatory

• Bachelor / master’s degree, major in electronics or mechatronics or computer science
• 5+ years’ experience in embedded software design & development
• Good experience in Microcontroller / Micro-processor
• Good experience in C/C++ programming languages
• Experience in automotive bus communication (CAN, LIN, Flexrey) or Ethernet
• Knowledge on RTOS / Linux / AUTOSAR
• Self-discipline, self-motivation, and strong teamwork spirit
• Good communication skills and English both in oral and written

Preferable

• Automotive related background or experience
• Experience in Python programming language
• Experience in FOTA / Bootloader / Security
• Knowledge on DevOps, CI, CD
• Knowledge on ISO26262, ASPICE
