Job responsibilities
Has responsibility for activities related to reconciliation of accounting positions from local trial balance. These activities include, amongst others:
Your day to day
Reconciliation & controls
- Perform daily checks for assigned accounts.
- Perform reconciliation on assigned accounts.
- Follow-up on open items with responsible contacts from other teams.
- Investigations related to reconciliations performed.
- Document and keep updated the applicable working instructions.
- Active participation in implementation of processes improvements in own area.
- Documenting supporting information (audit trail).
What you bring to the team
Economic University (Accounting specialization is a plus).
(some) Experience in accounting is always appreciated.
Strong computer literacy (MS Office package, understanding an IT environment).
Medium level of knowledge for English.
Good communication skills.
Adaptability and working both independent and in a team are highly appreciated.
