Chiliz.net is a first-of-its-kind mobile and desktop crypto exchange for sports & entertainment products.


THE ROLE

Due to continued growth, we are now looking for a creative, motivated, and enthusiastic person to join our Social Media team as a Twitter Specialist. You’ll be responsible for managing two very important accounts for Socios.com with a passionate fanbase: Socios Türkiye and Socios Global. You will engage with our fans, partners, and other leading brands on social media as well as implement the correct tone of voice, as Socios.com looks to increase its ever-expanding online community. Given the nature of social media, we will be looking for someone who is proactive, able to identify and react to the latest trends, follow social media best practices, and represent the Socios brand in order to increase awareness and potential Fan Token Holders.


Responsibilities & Duties:


  • With great power comes great responsibility! Every tweet, comment, post, or like you publish is effectively you being the brand guardian and spokesperson for the company
  • Support the Head of Social in executing & growing the marketing strategy for the global accounts
  • Works closely with key internal teams including, but not limited to, Marketing, Communications, Campaign Management, Acquisition, CRM, Web, and Product
  • Create, write, and curate high-quality original content designed to engage followers and position the brand appropriately
  • Take pride in building an engaging community, creating personal connections, and communicating the brand through relatable content.
  • Able to strike a balance between promotional content and stimulating direct discussion with potential and actual users
  • Being there, even in unconventional hours, to be reactive to the events unfolding and capitalize on moments
  • Always on the lookout for creative and content inspirations
  • Grow an online community through engaging and exciting content and track the trends and its growth
  • Build a relationship with our partner clubs, whilst being able to advise them on the content pieces you think would work best
  • Research and coordinate the creative elements for your content including images, graphics, videos, and other artwork
  • Passionate about performance, making sure that you deliver content that is not only engaging but that ultimately converts and/or retains users on the Socios.com app
  • Be a hawkeye - make sure you have an eye for detail and that you are keen on proofreading before posting material
  • Work in a multidisciplinary team with professionals such as designers, marketing execs, videographers, and creative minds to improve your team’s content strategy
  • Have the right knowledge around tracking, SEO, and attribution
  • Adhere to copyright and privacy standards and company policies
  • Determine and track important KPIs as per the team lead’s direction


Skills and requirements:


  • Native level of Turkish and fluent in English
  • A passionate lover of sports
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills in order to both navigate a complex organization and address the online community
  • Ability to develop and keep the right tone for the company’s Twitter accounts
  • Proven ability to manage communities and a customer-first mindset
  • Previous working experience working in Social for a minimum of at least two years
  • Excellent proofreading, editing, and copywriting skills;
  • Knowledge of software such as InDesign, Photoshop, and other editing tools is considered a bonus
  • Proven attention to detail even in the most hectic of times
  • Creative thinker by nature
  • Critical thinker and a problem-solver
  • Team player and willing to go the extra mile to get things done
  • Good organizational and time-management skills with the flexibility to work outside normal working hours when required
  • Great interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills
  • Must hold a degree in journalism, communications, or a relevant similar field
