Job Description
- Coordinating with the Business Units and internal stakeholders, ensure the preparation, proposal and presentation of plans (budgets, forecasts, capital investments, etc.)
- Application of effective and efficient financial and internal controls to ensure Company assets are protected, and respond to audit requirements (internal and external).
- Responsible of the compliance with country laws and group policies, and of the completeness of all accounting and financial activities and transactions.
- Lead and direct the preparations of financial statements and reports, to be on time for Group Finance
- Provide Management with accurate analysis on the financial statements and business implications, risks and budget comparisons
- Supervise all matters related to tax and fiscal management and make recommendations in order to optimise the tax returns.
- Advise management on local financial policies and issues; and implications for the Company.
- Supervise and control short, and long-term cash management practices, in line with the group guidelines; to ensure that financial structure of the Company are adequate to support business growth and investments
- Co-manage and approve all third parties and Inter-companies legal contracts.
- Create, maintain and update written Group and local procedures related to finance and accounting
- Responsible for internal controls
- Provide leadership, training and guidance to all employees in Finance/Accounting.
The Successful Applicant
- Minimum 10 years related working experience within a global manufacturing environment.
- 7 years as Manager/Head of Department/Controller experience is essential.
- Certified Public Accountant preferred.
- Familiar with VUK Turkish tax laws and regulations
- IFRS Reporting
- Familiar with integrated ERP systems
