Description
Responsibilities:
- Overall responsibility for the creation of commercially, legally, and technically optimized and correct system proposals.
- Preparation of quotations and calculations for green field in medium, high voltage, automation and brown field projects related to spare parts, service contracts, retrofit, digital solutions.
- Stakeholder management and interaction with other departments to ensure high quality and up to date tender documentation and offer technical solutions.
- Ensure most competitive proposals considering market situation and customer priorities (technical/commercial) and conditions
- Support sales targets and maintain profitability
- Study the customer RFQ/specifications in depth and distribute required portions to stake holders.
- Co-ordinate with cross-functional teams like Supply Chain, Project management, Engineering, HSE, legal, integrity Finance, Sales teams during proposal stage and smooth handover
- Ensure all proposals terms and conditions (commercial, technical, legal, pricing) are in accordance and compliance to company's policy in each offer.
- Work with procurement teams to Identify potential suppliers for equipment and materials needed for the proposal and evaluate technical offers from suppliers on alignment with specifications.
- Support bid/no bid analysis and decisions, participate and manage the risk review process. Run approval process as per internal PGGI guidance (Gate Review and Risk Review)
- Have ownership of the opportunity, register, and update the development in the SFDC (Sales Force) as reporting tools
- Ensure support to the Sales team during the technical meetings, product presentations, and in negotiations with customers to provide technical support and clarification as needed.
- Prepare and review detailed scope of work, commercial calculations, delivery schedules and documentation as required
- Adequately plan and forecast workload to meet business needs.
- Feasibility Study - Technical / Strategic positioning, and Commercial viability for new solutions offered proactively.

Your background:
- Should be a good team player
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
- 3-7 years of experience, in a position handling tender/quotation/proposal in power system.
- Should have in-depth knowledge of Power System-Generation, Transmission & Distribution, Energy automation in Utility and Industrial segments.
- Having basic knowledge and interest in new technology such as Electrical Power Quality, Renewable Energy (Solar PV, Battery Storage).
- Knowledge of Hitachi Energy product portfolio is an added advantage
- Good written and verbal communication
- Advanced computer skills across MS Office, MS Teams, Outlook, SharePoint. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, high attention to detail
- Ability to handle many proposals simultaneously
- Ability to learn and use internal tools
- Proven experience with successfully organizing complex processes and activities to deliver high quality proposals
- Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required. Proficiency in Arabic will be advantage.
