About the Position
Job Summary:
Under direction of the Online Technical Support Manager, provides technical assistance to customers and Werfen field personnel within a product line responsibility. Troubleshoot, over the phone or other tools, instrument failures. Answers a broad range of technical questions regarding instrument performance, instrument capabilities, QC concerns and other product concerns as required.
Responsibilities:
- Provide immediate support to end user in Werfen system by phone, Wechat or other channel in reagents operations and calibrations, instrument operation and troubleshooting
- Complete the work plan required by the Online Technical Support Manager
- Actively participate in weekly and monthly Technical Support team meetings
- In case of needed on-site intervention, communicate service request to appropriate area FSE, application engineer or Software Service Engineer. Follow up the problem until it is solved.
- Continuously manage and monitor the instrument of VIP customers
- Follow the complaint about reagent and instrument quality, until it solved.
- Provide technical support to Application and Field service personnel
- Contribute experience and knowledge pills about troubleshooting for end user
- Visit the VIP and end user to introduce TSC
- On-site support application problem investigation and operation and application training and troubleshooting training if need
- Provide training for engineers
- Perform other tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, or a related Health Care Discipline.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years working experience in a clinical setting or Technical support team
- Telephone and communication skills, product and application knowledge, analysis skills, problem solving capability.
