In this function, you will support our Head Fund Advisory in a very broad, dynamic and globally oriented environment:

Responsibilities:

  • Analysis of new products, markets and investment opportunities
  • Supporting the execution of security transactions in various markets and asset classes
  • Supporting the on-boarding of cross-border private equity/debt transactions (due diligence, valuation, risk management, stakeholder management etc.)
  • Being a sparring partner in assessing the feasibility of new private equity and private debt transactions
  • Transaction and administrative support for the business development team and assisting in managing existing client relationships
  • Supporting company valuations by applying different methodologies
  • Post-investment DD support for various Investment Managers within the Group;
  • Managing key external and internal stakeholders globally
  • Supporting the audits of various Monterosa Group Companies
  • Stakeholder management and communication with corporate service providers, lawyers, directors, advisors, investee companies etc.

Requirements / Experience:

  • Preferably Master’s degree (or similar) in business administration, finance/controlling and relevant work experience: any additional certification Series 7, CFA or CAIA would be advantageous
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Banking Middle Office, Fund Trading or Fund Accounting
  • Excellent communication skills and desire to interact with global stakeholders
  • Good understanding of financial markets, regulations and financial products
  • Multi-disciplinary technical expertise in financial planning and tax matters potentially with previous exposure to private banking / wealth structuring / investment management
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, able to handle several responsibilities with shifting priorities and able to meet deadlines
  • High degree of accuracy, persistency and attention to detail coupled with a structured and pragmatic work approach
  • Strong service attitude, team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, willing to work in an interdisciplinary team
  • Good presentation skills with a distinct ability to present technical matters in an efficient and comprehensible way
  • Proficient in both spoken and written English and German
